George Schulman CV

History

Classically trained master fine artist and art historian, can work in any style or medium. A young artist groomed by his second mother Freda Diamond, the Martha Stewart of her era. Recognized by peers, teachers and New York Art and Design Elites to have the “it”.  Friend, advisor and catalyst for success for Iconic Artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat. Early success showing on Madison Avenue and Museums, this overly critical emerging artist believed it was not his time. Spending a lifetime experimenting with light and form, testing his and the boundaries of art in 2014 re-entered the market with a vengeance. Today paintings and collages are receiving accolades from art industry leaders, young and emerging artists, and peers for their stand-alone elegant, wildly colorful, kinetic, exuberant, musical and at times visually tense signature style the artist calls, “Fracturing”.
